1310A - in situ Large Rodent/Small Animal Muscle Test System
Ideal for live animal protocols including injury and longitudinal studies. Complete test system for evaluating the mechanical characteristics of in situ isolated muscle of rats and other small animals. Peak forces of up to 100N or peak torques of up to 300N-cm. The rat rests prone on a heated limb platform with clamps for affixation. Both force and length are controlled and measured with this system. Length-tension, force-velocity, force-frequency, stiffness, fatigue and work loop protocols can all be measured with this system.
