ASI’s muscle physiology products are designed to test the force-length-velocity characteristics of a wide range of materials. Although the instruments are used primarily on intact muscle, muscle fibres and myocytes they have proven very successful at testing a variety of other materials including artificial muscle, MEMS devices, carbon nano-tubes and more. ASI instruments include dual-mode levers, length controllers, force transducers, stimulators, data acquisition hardware and software as well as experimental apparatus. All these products are sold individually or in complete systems.
ASI’s complete systems are designed with the flexibility necessary to meet all your experimentation needs. Present apparatus is capable of testing natural materials varying from myocytes to dog hind leg muscles as well as a variety of artificial materials. If our present equipment doesn't fit your needs please contact us with your requirements as we also provide custom design and fabrication services.
