Fast-Response Gas Sensor Links

DRDC Suffield
Our fast-response PID sensors were originally designed under a DRDC Suffield contract. DRDC Suffield use the sensors for dispersion model validation.

U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground
Our digitalPID model is used by Dugway Proving Ground for gas dispersion studies and during field trials.

Joseph C. Klewicki
Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT.
Prof. Klewicki has developed a Scalar Transport Probe (STP) that employs a compact array of hot-wires and miniPID sensors. He has also used the miniPID for concentration fluctuation measurements both in laboratory wind tunnels and at the newly developed SLTEST facility in Utah's west desert.

Department of Entomology, University of California, Riverside
Our miniPID sensor has been used by Prof. Ring Carde in cooperation with Dr. John Murlis of the Jackson Environmental Institute at University College London.

Photovac
Our original gas sensors were based on the Photovac TIP product. We use Photovac RF-excited UV lamps in our miniPID and digitalPID instruments.
